This 1 day training course forms part of GXO Change’s “Making Sense” Series of training programs. “Making Sense of PRINCE2” is aimed at anyone involved (or about to be involved) in projects implementing PRojects in Controlled Environments Version 2 (PRINCE2) who wants to understand what PRINCE2 is, why PRINCE2 is being implemented worldwide (i.e. the benefits of applying PRINCE2 to your projects), how PRINCE2 is able to be applied to any project of any size, and what key steps need to be followed to deliver a PRINCE2 project.
This course provides an overview of the best practice OGC methodology to delivering projects - PRINCE2. It provides an overview of the PRINCE2 principles, themes and major processes. It is deliberately delivered in a relaxed teaching style that is aimed at making PRINCE2 meaningful to any current project management activity. Students attending this course should expect to understand the fundamentals of PRINCE2 and use this knowledge to inform their current project management activities. This short course provides a good overview for more detailed PRINCE2 training and certification later on.
